Her eyes lit up at the sight of those wildflowers. Purple and white, with a few dots of red sprinkled here and there, the field was too inviting to pass up. So, we took a slight detour off our path to photograph lovely Emily in the middle of the field.
One topic I really like to discuss at the consultation, which is included with every session, is what the senior's interests are. Emily plays the trumpet, so we wanted to be sure to get a few shots with it. Here is one of my favorite shots:
Her makeup, by Elan Makeup Studio in Dallas, was gorgeous. I always include at least a few headshots. Her parents thought this one portrayed Emily in a way that was authentic.
Because our session was a couple of hours, we could move at a relaxed pace and not rush. I love Emily's quiet confidence. Best wishes next year, Emily!
