PESH Senior Portrait Photography
Abby's brother and my son had been good friends in elementary school so when we ran into their family by chance at Hawaiian Falls one day, Abby's Mom, Charlotte, and I sat chatting while the boys went around and around on the lazy river. We talked about all sorts of things and caught up on our kids. That was when I discovered her daughter was about to be a junior and I told her about my senior model program. When the time came to sign kids up for my senior model program, Charlotte signed Abby up.
Here are a couple of favorite images from her model session, which took place in McKinney, at my favorite indoor location in town. Marissa Duff did her beautiful makeup. I like the sassy pose in this first one:
Horizontal, off-center close-ups are some of my favorite shots. They bring attention to the face are are interesting and dynamic images. Here's one from Abby's model session:
When it came time for her normal senior portrait session, Abby wanted a springtime outdoor session. So we chose (an always busy but beautiful) Richardson, Texas location. Charlotte asked if Abby could bring her dog, Roxanne, to the session. "Of course she can!", I said. We did the dog images first in a quiet place to be sure we got them. Donna Cooper did her beautiful makeup for this session. This turned out to be the family's favorite portrait:
We moved on to the next area and Abby changed clothes in between to this beautiful print which went very well with the surroundings:
Finally, after Abby changed again, we moved on to the rocky area while the sun was setting. The background light was so beautiful:
