Read the story below about what makes this senior collage special.
I got a call one of the first years of my business, around 8 years ago, from a friend of a friend. I had not met them before, but they wanted family portraits done. Their family included, besides Mom and Dad, a beautiful red-headed girl, and two boys, around middle school age. (Sometimes boys aren't very thrilled to be at family sessions, especially when they are around middle-school age, but they did just fine.) They even brought their dog. It turned out to be the start of a friendship and three more portrait sessions, because as the children graduated from high school, the family hired me to do the senior pictures.
This year, the youngest of the family became a high school senior, so when I got the call to do his senior portraits over the summer, I was pretty excited about it. I love meeting the different children during this important year of their lives and I love seeing how different they are, what their interests are, and the love this family has for each other. Walking into their beautiful home, I enjoyed seeing the portraits I had done for them over the years, from the family shot over the fireplace to the senior pictures of the two older children. To be able to create memories for families is something I do not take lightly. It is important and it's an honor to do what I do.
The Mom has displayed a collage of the other two children prominently in her home, so I kind of figured she would want to do the same for the youngest child. Today, I framed this piece and I was thrilled with it. I prefer a simple collage so that the images are the focus. This piece is 20"x24". I have the portrait mounted on a rigid board so that there are no wrinkles. A simple black mat and frame and white background ensures the color and images will be the highlight of the piece.
I am gathering up all her products and look forward to delivering everything to them soon.
Would you like a collage of your very own? Families love these because they get many shots all in one place, so they can have different looks and moods.
