If you want Dallas outdoor senior portraits, Studio You Portraits can help! Almost every session I do is on-location. I have guidelines for what makes a great location, along with suggestions.
This latest session was from a Facebook referral. Thanks to whomever sent this sweet family! There were twins, but the brother was not comfortable with my sharing his pictures, which is totally OK! (He did really well, too, in case you are wondering.)
I do photograph at this location quite a bit, I know. But, the truth is that I know of no other outdoor, natural setting that has as much to offer as this park and surrounding area does. We can get a lot of different looks all just blocks away from each other. The driving gives the students a bit of a break, too.
This was one of the earlier shots. Her dress was perfect. Great color, great shape, and some texture to add interest.
Bringing this sign was a great idea!
Wow! Those eyelashes are amazing!
With all the people out there, it was a little tricky getting to photograph on the bridge, but we did it!
When the sun is coming down, it shines on the background here in such a lovely way.
Casual shots are fun, too, especially when I tell girls not to smile. They can't help but smile!
This family was really sweet to work with. They ordered a book, which is one of my biggest sellers. My clients love the books because they can get all of the images they love in it. It gives the family something to cherish when the kids leave for college. Creating these memories for families is a great joy to me.
I am booking the Class of 2016 already. I highly recommend doing senior pictures in the summer prior to the senior year or the fall. If you wait until spring, you are talking only about 5 weeks to do them (April through the first week of May) to ensure we get portraits back in time to put in graduation announcements and use as gifts. Not to mention the rain! I had to re-schedule on student's session twice due to bad weather.
