Plano Senior Photography Feature
A natural performer is usually a dream to photograph. They are used to being in the spotlight, so often feel very comfortable in front of the camera. And most of them like to play and try new poses and experiment with ideas.
Emily was one of those. I know her Mom from yoga. Emily is a singer, songwriter, and guitar player and she has been performing around Plano and Richardson for several years now.
We did a little session a while back and I wanted to feature her guitar in some of them, so we experimented:
I think Emily must have some acting experience because she was a master at doing the expression I was asking her to do and also coming up with her own. For the following shot, I asked her to look up to show off her beautiful (and beautifully lit) eyes. I knew at the moment I took this one that it would be one of my favorites. Her dreamy expression and sweet smile made me wonder what she was thinking about:
Emily arrived at the shoot with a bag full of accessories, one of them being this great plum-colored hat. As a side note, I love a kid who can pull off a great hat. Maybe because I'm jealous since I can't really wear hats, but the color of the hat anchored her outfit and complemented the colors in the room perfectly:
I have a very busy spring season ahead so I wanted to spotlight some sessions that I hadn't blogged about before. New work will be coming very soon and I can hardly wait.
