About A Rockwall High School Photography Session
It has been such a pleasure to photograph this family over the years. This senior is the youngest of three and his Rockwall High School photography session happened over the summer. He is very musical and plays trombone and the bagpipes, too. Casey did a great job choosing clothing for his session.
Here is one of my favorites. Red is his color, for sure!
He wanted to feature his trombone for some of them. I like the quiet mood in this one:
Here is a full-length portrait with his bagpipes:
A lot of seniors don't want to dress up but Casey wanted to wear a tie for some of his senior pictures, which was great and added some variety to his posing and portraits.
Here's another one with bagpipes. I wanted more of a close-up for one of them. He did not play them, by the way. I had never photographed bagpipes before, so it was a new experience. It was sort of like photographing golfers. Hard to know where to crop in-camera:
No Rockwall High School photography session would be complete without a close-up:
This location is private, so there are no worries about there being other people around. It's perfect for more introverted seniors or when it's 100 degrees outside.
Now is the time to schedule fall sessions. As I'm writing this, I read that the high is to be in the 70's this weekend. I promise you that you won't want to wait until spring for outdoor portraits. Spring is a crazy time during the senior year and it can be quite stressful to squeeze in yet another thing. There will be deadlines to meet, prom, parties, and then graduation. It's much easier for most families to get them done in the fall when the leaves are pretty and the breezes are blowing.
