My latest session is of a senior boy in the country.
His name is Josh and he loves, loves, loves baseball.
At their consultation, we decided to do part of the session in downtown Prosper, Texas, and the other part on some land that a friend of his owned.
It's fun to shoot in new places, so I was game!
Having never been to downtown Prosper, I was concerned that I'd have trouble finding parking, so I called a restaurant where my clients said I could park. The owner sort of chuckled and said since the businesses would all be closed by the time of our shoot, parking would be no problem. That was an understatement. Downtown Prosper is a quiet place, which made it perfect for a portrait session.
Here are some from downtown:
I thought the textures here would be awesome as a backdrop:
Then we were off to the friend's property.
I had NO IDEA what it would be like. I just knew what I required, which I posted about here. I knew there had to be trees. We got there at a beautiful time of day. Mosquitoes as big as my head were flying all around. But I didn't see any snakes! Next time, I'll remember the Off, LOL. It was a lovely piece of land. My assistant and I had to hitch a ride on the back of his truck to get through the tall grass and mud.
We got some with his truck:
When the sun went behind the trees, we got gorgeous light.
It was a fun adventure and I was very pleased with his portraits. Best wishes to you, Josh!
